Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a wonderful integrated health care to treat the whole body not just the isolated symptoms, to ease pain, heal and recover, balancing your body for overall health and vitality.

Acupuncture and TCM have been used successfully for many thousands of years, working with a profound pathway to restore balance on every level. It's a timeless bridge that can initiate and support change, healing and growth in any and all levels of this lifes dimension: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Your first visit will consist of a detailed case history, physical assessment and some treatment. Treatments may include any of the following techniques; Acupuncture, Moxabustion, Cupping, Nutrition and Herbal Medicines, Exercises, Tuning Forks, Magnets, Ear Seeds, Gusha, Tuina, Electro Acupuncture and Home Care.

A follow up appointment will consist of catching up on any changes, a physical assessment and treatment.

We offer a range of acupuncture serivces in our Wellington clinic. The number of treatments required depends on yourself as an individual and the nature of the condition. Normally you might need Acupuncture once or twice a week at first although some conditions may need less frequent attention. At other times the sessions can be very successful and you may only need one or two treatments while for others the effects are more subtle and they may need treatment over several months.

ACC CLIENTS: Please bring your ACC45 number on the day of your first visit or apply for one from your GP.

Should my Doctor know? If you are receiving treatment from your doctor it makes sense to let him or her know about your plans to have Acupuncture. The Acupuncture may enable you to reduce or even stop taking some forms of medication but your doctor should be consulted regarding any change of prescription.

I treat a number of different health problems such as migraine headaches, upper and lower back pain, hip pain, elbow pain, neck pain, stress and PTSD, weight management, migraines, depression, anxiety, frozen shoulders, insomnia, blood pressure maintenance issues, weight loss issues and facial rejuvenation, along with many other disorders. My background includes two years experience serving as a soldier in the Chinese military working in the department of health using Acupuncture to treat other female soldiers. I've also spent a year working in a Rehabilitation centre here in Wellington as part of my work experience and I have Massage and Spa experience here too.
