Naturopathy is a way of treating illness using natural methods like herbs, nutrition or lifestyle changes. (Appointments by request)

Primarily naturopathy looks at helping prevent disease, obtain optimum health and restoring health knowledge in the individual. Naturopathy is about discovering and eliminating the source of the problem. Registered Naturopaths in New Zealand are the Natural Healing equivalent of General Practitioners and able to treat a wide variety of complaints.

Naturopathy can treat almost any condition, acute or chronic, including: Low energy, fatigue, poor immunity, coughs, colds, sore throats, allergies, digestive and bowel disorders, hormonal complaints, nervous system disorders e.g. anxiety, mild depression, stress, insomnia, skin problems e.g. eczema, acne, psoriasis, weight management and many more.

Naturopathy looks not only at treating the disease or health issue, but also long term prevention and improving health. Naturopathy works well with conventional medicine and can assist those that are already on prescribed medication.

The first consultation will take one hour. Prior to the consultation you will be asked to fill out some questionnaires so that we can get the most our of your hour.

What else should I bring to my first appointment?

Some useful things to bring to your first appointment are:

  • Details of any medications you are taking (name & doseage)
  • Detials of any suppliments (herbal or nutrtional) that you are taking (name, brand and doseage)
  • Copies of any medical test results (blood, urine etc.) that you have had within the last 12 months
  • Copies of any letters from medical specialists that you have received within the last 12 months or longer if it relates to your primary concern.
